Challenge #136 With a Flourish

Hello! It's Regan here to let you know that it's time for another Corrosive Challenge! We were so pleased to see the wonderful response to our "Flying Things" challenge! Thanks to everyone who shared their creations with us! The new challenge for this fortnight is "With a Flourish". We want you to do exactly that - add a flourish to your project! It could be chipboard, bling, die cut, a stamped image, or patterned paper.... The type of flourish is entirely up to you! We can't wait to see your interpretation of the theme!

This is the last challenge for the month of October, and we would again like to thank our two generous sponsors - Doodle Pantry and Karen's Doodles! They have each provided a lovely prize for this month's winner so if you'd like a chance to win, this is your last chance to join in.

Finally, I would like to wish everyone who celebrates it a Happy Halloween! It is a favorite holiday here at the Corrosive Challenge, and we wanted to wish you a fun and safe All Hallow's Eve!

And now the Corrosive Challenge design team ladies have some sample projects to share with you:

First up we have this beautifully macabre creation by our GDT for the month, Fiona.

Kellie created this adorable winter card using an image from Doodle Pantry.

Susan used a Karen's Doodles image to create her Halloween card.

Regan's creation is a winter wonderland with this gorgeous angel from sponsor Karen's Doodles.

Challenge #135 Flying Things

Welcome to another Corrosive Challenge! Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Purple Passion challenge! We enjoyed seeing your take on the theme and hope you'll play along again this fortnight with our new challenge. "Flying Things" is our theme for the next two weeks. What comes to mind for you? Fairies, angels, dragons, witches, bats, birds, butterflies, bugs, balloons, planes... We'll leave that up to you, but as long as it can take to the sky - real or imaginary - we want to see it on your projects!

We are sponsored this month by two fabulous companies: Doodle Pantry and Karen's Doodles! Both have offered up wonderful prizes for our October winner so link your creations below for a chance to win!

To get your creative juices flowing The Corrosive Gals have some inspiration for you! Let's see what the design team has been up to:

Challenge #134 Purple Passion

Hello... Regan here with your new Corrosive Challenge! We were just blown away with the response to our Punches and/or Dies challenge!!! Thanks to everyone who played along! It's the start of a new month, October - my favorite one of the year, and that means new sponsors and prizes so let's learn a little about them before we get to this fortnight's challenge.

First up, we have Doodle Pantry:

Here is a little blurb from owner/artist Laurie Wilson: "I am honored to be sponsoring the Corrosive Challenge this month! I hope you like the Corrosive team's creations using Doodle Pantry images and are inspired to play along. Doodle Pantry has a variety of image styles and characters and even some templates. I would be honored if you stopped by and grabbed a freebie or two and took a look around the shop."

Doodle Pantry has kindly provided a $15 gift voucher for use in their online shop.

Our second sponsor is Karen's Doodles:

Karen Johnson has been drawing all of her life. She has worked on the feature film, "Ferngully The Last Rainforest" and has created animations for Disney, Fisher Price, and Mattel. She has illustrated several children's books and is currently teaching animation at a college in Wisconsin. She started Karen's Doodles so she could share her whimsical drawings with crafters from around the world.

Karen's Doodles has generously offered a prize of 3 digi images of choice.

It's now time to announce the winner for September's challenges: Congratulations to JLJ Designs! Please contact Regan or Susan to claim your prize.

And now on to the challenge.... The theme for this fortnight is "Purple Passion"! We want to see your creations featuring this royal and mysterious color PLUS one other color only. To get you started let's see what The Corrosive Gals have in the way of inspiration:

Our Guest Designer for October is Fiona, and she's made this gorgeous card using an image from Doodle Pantry. Thanks Fiona!
